Business Visas for Libya
VISA Authorisation for LBBC Members and their Associates
Step 1:
Get a Visa Authorisation from the Libyan Immigration Office in Libya before you apply for your Visa. The Visa Authorisation is usually obtained by the host organisation in LIbya.
The LBBC can also obtain a Visa Authorisation for the following visa categories:
- SINGLE-entry
- SIX MONTH MULTIPLE-entry
To obtain a VISA AUTHORISATIONS you will need the following:
- Picture of your passport details page sent to the LBBC (events@lbbc.org.uk)
- Fees for this service will be sent to you by invoice and prompt payment is required.
- The following fees apply for the VISA AUTHORISATION:
- Single Entry: £250
- Six Month Multiple Entry: £350

Step 2:
Below are the visa requirements checklist, details of the respective fees, and the address of the Libyan Embassy in London.
Once a visa has been authorised, you will need to take your passport to the Libyan Consulate with a completed visa form and the information below in order for the visa to be issued.

Please note, you DO NOT need to attend the Consulate yourself – someone, such as a courier or agent, can do so on your behalf as long as they have the correct documentation.

Please take into account any consular closings that could impact how much time you will need to get your travel documents processed and returned to you prior to your trip.
The Consulate in London is closed every Friday and is open for visas open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 till 14:00
The visa is valid for forty-five days from the date of issue, and gives its holder the right to stay in Libya for a period of ninety days from the day of entry into the country. The period of stay granted by entry visas may be extended for a period not exceeding one month, provided that there are no obstacles to this.
