Patrick Gutmann

Patrick is an experienced executive with diverse background and experience in managing cross-cultural teams across a variety of businesses and functions. He has extensive international experience having lived and worked in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  Patrick started his career with large financial institutions (Wells Fargo and ABN AMRO) and he built a solid banking foundation with an emphasis on corporate banking, retail banking and transaction banking.  Over the last nearly 20 years, Patrick’s emphasis and focus has been on building and growing banking businesses in Emerging Markets, starting with ABN AMRO across Asia, followed by CIB in Egypt, then Ecobank across Africa and currently with BACB across Africa and the Middle East.

He is the Managing Director, Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) responsible for all business and client-facing front-office activities within BACB, including Treasury & Capital Markets, six product areas, four regional coverage areas with five representative offices.

He joined the LBBC Board of Directors in June 2018.
