The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer appointed his predecessor Ahmed Emnissi as the new Head of the steering committee of the Libyan Foreign Bank after sacking its board of directors and general director Mohammed Bin Yousif.
Bin Yousif was sacked along with the board of directors for alleged involvement in corruption and wasting public money.
In the meantime, sources revealed that Al-Kabeer had received an international report proving Bin Yousif to be involved in squandering of public money.
Libyan Foreign Bank’s board of directors rejected the decision and said it was illegal.
