It is our pleasure to announce that the LBBC is supporting the Annual Conference on Energy Arbitration and Dispute Resolution in the Middle East and Africa, which will be taking place on 30th and 31st May 2024 at the London offices of Herbert Smith Freehills. Further information on the programme and speakers can be found on the website of the Conference Organiser, International Law Summits (ILS): .
Now in its 7th Edition, the conference is firmly established as a major event in the international arbitration calendar, serving as a forum for discussion of energy dispute resolution, and the factors that drive energy disputes in these key markets. Building on its previous tremendous success, this year’s 2-day programme will bring together leading figures from the Middle East and Africa to examine the procedural and technological developments in dispute resolution, the economic and geopolitical drivers of disputes, and what lies ahead for the industry. As ever, the conference will feature a variety of expert speakers and attendance of representatives from the energy industry, government ministries, diplomatic missions, international organisations, academia and leading legal practices. This is an unmissable event for all professionals involved in energy dispute resolution in the Middle East and Africa!
In light of the importance attached to the attendance of our esteemed members at this important event, I am also pleased to inform you that ILS are offering members a 33% discount on the usual registration fee. Registration for both days’ costs GBP £500, with one-day tickets available for GBP £300. To register, please visit the  or , and enter the discount code MEMBER2024.
The conference represents a unique opportunity to share insights with leading figures in the field. There are a range of media and sponsor partnership opportunities available which the ILS team would be delighted to discuss further should you be interested – please find a brochure covering these opportunities attached.
