The Chairman of the Man Made River Authority, Engineer Abdulnaser Bubteina and Salem Elmaiar, MMRA representative in the UK and Honorary LBBC Council Member briefed the LBBC members and guests at the LBBC Webinar on Wednesday 23 September at 11am UK time.
The MMR is the main supplier of water for domestic use to the Libyan citizens along its agricultural & industrial utilisations. Extending over 4000 km of pipelines transport water from massive reservoirs below the Sahara Desert to Libya’s most heavily populated coastal communities, including the main cities of Tripoli & Benghazi.
