In recent months Air Partner has been responsible for organising a series of charter flights in cooperation with Siemens Energy and GECOL with the purpose of transporting technicians to conduct essential maintenance at power plants throughout Libya, helping to restore capacity to Libya’s power grid.
Furthermore, beginning in 2018, Air Partner has organised multiple evacuation charter flights in cooperation with UNHCR and the WFP, helping to repatriate thousands of refugees stranded in Libya to various destinations including Italy, Rwanda, and Niger.
These logistically complex projects have been undertaken in cooperation with local Libyan aircraft operators with whom Air Partner maintains close relationships and a mutual understanding of the unique political and geographical challenges that Libya presents.
In addition, an Air Partner Group subsidiary ‘Redline Assured Security’ has been working with the US Department of State and Culmen International LLP to train and advise Libyan airport security personnel with the aim of improving the security situation at multiple Libyan airports, including Tripoli Mitiga, Misrata, Benghazi, and Sabha.
