A delegation representing the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce (TCCIA) plan to visit London in mid-September as guests of the West London Local Chambers (WLLC) and will attend an event on 16 September at the Hounslow Chamber of Commerce (Spring Grove House, West Thames College, London Road, Isleworth TW7 4HS). LBBC Chairman Peter Millett has accepted the WLCC CEO’s invitation to join the speakers and the CEO has invited LBBC members to attend the event by registering through Eventbrite [I have asked Alan for a link]. There is a £25 fee for participants who are not members of the WLCC.
The programme will include opportunities for one to one meetings with the delegates. The Libyan delegates represent companies trading in sectors including agricultural products, contracting, construction & real estate, energy, fashion, fisheries, food, investment, maritime services, medical instruments, oil services, pharmaceuticals and training. We will circulate the names of the delegates and their companies nearer the time once their UK visas have been issued.
Looking ahead, the TCCIA will be on our programme for the LBBC trade mission to Tripoli in November. Initial contacts during the Libyans’ visit to Isleworth will pave the way for follow up meetings then.
